Tim Ward is a brave, brave soul. He set out to discover what would happen if a man truly encountered the Goddess. That’s brave enough, but then he went on to pen a book, Savage Breast: One Man’s Search for the Goddess, which is touted as the first book about the Goddess from an explicitly male perspective. Somehow one imagines there’s a skull full of blood around Kali’s neck with Ward’s name on it. He lives to tell the tale as keynote speaker for WholeExpo 2006, in a “highly interactive” session illustrated by a slide show of ancient Goddesses.
